Decision Theater

What if you could see the consequences of decisions before making them?

We power What if?

What if you could make the complex understandable?

We power What if?

What if you could access the intellect of experts from around the globe at the same time?

We power What if?

What is Decision Theater?

Solutions to complex problems require a strategic approach. The Decision Theater organizes researchers, policymakers and the business community to better understand and explore solutions to complex issues facing society. Using data analytics and high-performance computing to drive software-integrated models, DT works with transdisciplinary partners to streamline big data and transform it into novel, interactive data visualizations.

By combining a variety of technical capabilities, DT facilitates the collaborative engagement between different groups in the pursuit of comprehensive, useful, data-driven models that build shared understanding and perspectives. Managing the convergence of multiple disciplines, datasets, ways of knowing and approaches to governance is essential to the DT collaboration process.

Decision Theater's convergence framework

  • Mapping the landscape of interrelated systems
  • Iterative analysis and narrative development
  • Engagement and co-creation

DT’s analytics, predictive modeling, integration and convening expertise combine to allow decision-makers to understand complex problems and the consequences of decisions before they are made. Empowered by these capabilities, decision-makers are enabled to make better, more informed decisions.

Decision Theater continues to grow its list of technical and policymaking partners. Organizations ranging from government agencies and laboratories, academic institutions, industry, and non-profits all seek to understand and develop solutions for today’s complex problems using data, analytics, visualization, integrated models and simulation.
